How to Deposit money into Sportpesa Tanzania account

Step 1

Access your mobile money menu on your phone, and transfer money using the Sportpesa Paybill number sent to you during registration.

Follow the steps below to place a single bet via SMS.

Step 1

SMS to 15888 the Game ID of the game you wish to bet on, your prediction, and the amount you wish to bet with.

e.g. 8692#2#2000 – where “8692” is the game ID, “2” is your prediction for Away team to win, and “2000” is the bet amount

Step 2

You will receive a confirmation message from 15888 showing your Bet ID, possible win, and your SportPesa account balance. The possible win is calculated by multiplying your total Odds by the bet amount. (e.g.2.36*2000=TZS 236)

e.g. You placed BetID 6934 on Crystal Palace vs FC West Ham, 2. Amount: TZS 2000. POSSIBLE WIN TZS 236. S-PESA balance: TZS 38093.

Step 3

So you have placed your bet and all you need do now is sit back and enjoy the game you have placed your bet on.

How to Place a multi bet

Follow the steps below to place a Multi bet via SMS.

Step 1

SMS to 15888 the Game IDs of the games you have selected, your predictions for these games, and the amount you want to bet with. (Note that a Multibet has a minimum of two games and a maximum of 20 games).

e.g. 1234#2#4534#1#7180 #X#1350 where 1234 is the first Game ID,2 is the prediction,4534 is the second Game ID, 1 is the prediction, 7180 is the third Game ID and X is the prediction. TZS 1350 is the bet amount for your multibet.

Step 2

You will receive a confirmation message from 15888 showing your Multi Bet ID, possible win, and your SportPesa account balance. The possible win is calculated by multiplying your total Odds by the bet amount. (e.g.2.36*1.22*3.12*2000=TZS 8980)

e.g. You placed MultiBetID 6955. Amount TZS 2000. Possible WIN: TZS 8980 Your S-PESA balance is: TZS 37958

How to Bet for Sportpesa Jackpot via SMS(Tanzania)

Step 1

The Jackpot has 13 pre-selected matches that usually play in the middle of the week.

The cash prize for the Jackpot starts at TZS 200,000,000 and the amount progresses every week whenever we don’t have a winner.

To place a bet on the Jackpot, SMS to 15888 “JP” followed by “#” then the 13 predictions of the pre-selected Jackpot games.

Note: One does not have to enter the stake since Jackpot amount by default is TZS 2000.

Step 2

You will receive a confirmation message from 15888 showing your Jackpot Bet ID, all the 13 predictions you have made, the bet amount, and your SportPesa account balance.

Note: You are a winner when all your 13 predictions match the outcomes of the games.

The Jackpot is equally shared among all the winners.

Bonuses are awarded for 10,11, and 12 correct predictions.

You can place as many bets as you wish on the Jackpot and each bet costs TZS 2000.

Step 3

Double Combination bet simply makes it easier to make multiple bets at once instead of repeating the same sequence many times if you wish to place more than one Jackpot (JP) bet via sms.

This allows you to place a bet with two predictions on a single game, on up to 7 games from the listed 13 jackpot games in one bet!

For example, if you wish to make 2 predictions on 3 JP games, you will have made 8 bets in total. i.e. 2^3 (2*2*2=8 JP bets)

How to cancel a bet on Sportpesa(Tanzania)

Once you have placed a bet and realized that there’s a mistake you committed, Sportpesa allows you to cancel it by following these steps:

For example, if you want to withdraw TZS 1200 from your SportPesa account you will:

SMS to 15888; W#1200#8888 – where W stands for Withdraw, 1200 is the amount of money you wish to withdraw and 8888 is the SportPesa pin you received upon registration. Note: The withdrawal format is standard across all mobile money service providers. i.e Vodacom M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Tigo Pesa, Halopesa.

You will receive a confirmation message from 15888 and Your Mobile Money account (Vodacom M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Tigo Pesa, Halopesa, etc) will be credited, and a second confirmation SMS to this effect will be sent to you by your mobile service operator.
